How much is this going to cost me?

This depends on the type of case you would like our help with.

In injury or death cases, the answer is "nothing." If we accept your case, we will pay all necessary costs and do not get paid unless we win at trial or negotiate a settlement with your approval. If we are successful, we then ask for a reasonable percentage of the total verdict or settlement, plus any costs or expenses we advance on your behalf. In no event will you be stuck with no recovery and a bill from us and, at the conclusion of every case you will be provided a complete accounting of all monies.

In all other kinds of cases, there are several billing options and the costs will vary depending on the complexity of the issue. Some may require cash retainers and will be billed on an hourly basis. We will be happy to give you a specific pricing plan for your legal need upon request.

Are initial consultations free?

Absolutely. At Dallas & Turner, PLLC, we believe that free initial consultations provide a valuable service to the community.

Do I need an appointment to meet with an attorney?

Appointments are not necessary, but are highly recommended simply because the nature of legal work often requires our attorneys to be out of the office for matters such as hearings, depositions, meetings, or investigations. To ensure that we have adequate time to meet with you, we encourage you to first call our office to make sure that we are available at your preferred time.
In the even that you are unable to meet in our office in a timely manner, our attorneys will personally come to you.

Are there time limitations associated with my legal issue?

Yes, there likely are. If you suspect that you have a legal claim against another, it is crucial that you not delay and contact an attorney as soon as possible. In Kentucky, limitation periods vary from claim to claim, so please call our office, and let us identify for you any deadlines that may apply to your case so that you do not lose valuable legal rights forever.

What happens if you can't take my case?

If we are unable to help you, we will assist you in finding other competent attorneys.

Where do you handle cases?

The vast majority of our practice is in Kentucky, and we will handle cases in all 120 counties. However, if you or a loved one suffered an injury or death in Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, or any other state, we can and will still help you by partnering with another attorney in that area.
